    Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems.At Great lakes Animal Hospital we offer on site state of the art radiology unit and automatic processor, which help the veterinarian to diagnose the medical or surgical condition immediately and start the treatment at the earliest to help the patient.

    Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasonic scaler to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity.

    We at Great Lakes Animal Hospital offer dental radiographic service to help doctor to determine extent and kind of dental pathology under the gum lines and at the tooth root.

    We also offer the oravet gum sealant application and homecare kit .

We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care.we offer pain medication for all surgical patients, all feline declaw surgeries get a fentanyl pain patch application to keep them comfortable. we also offer pain managemnt for the arthritis and hip dysplasia  in the senior dogs.

     At Great Lakes Animal Hospital we have on site lab to test for blood chemistries to determine pet's kidney, liver, pancreatic functions. In house lab services also provide tests for heartworm disease, feline leukemia and feline aids, fecal tests for intestinal parasites and urine testing services.
